Love what you do
Some people get into the real estate business because they feel they can do it “part time”. Others do it because they think they can “make a quick buck” in a crazy market. Some others do it because they want to help relatives &/or friends. I originally started my career 28 years ago because I felt there just had to be a better way to do business. After dealing with some rather unsavory, unprofessional & unintelligent sales people, my husband convinced me to get my license. The fact is now, after 28 years, I just LOVE what I do. “Helping people find their way home” has been my tag line for many years & it’s the most rewarding job, if that’s the right word. It’s really not a job; it’s an honor. To see a buyer &/or a seller smiling & happy at their closing gives me great satisfaction & when THEY’RE happy, I’m happy. I can honestly say that if I won the lottery tomorrow, I’d still want to practice my profession. Life doesn’t get any better than that.
